FAQs

  • Alendil is a short-term rental platform where hosts list their Airbnbs at a discount, and guests save by cleaning and preparing the home for the next guest — eliminating the need to hire a cleaner between bookings.

  • All guests arrive to a clean home.

    Before checkout:

    • Complete the host’s cleaning checklist.

    • Take live photos that mirror the host’s required images.

    • Follow the host’s checkout instructions.

Once everything’s done, the stay is complete and the space is ready to welcome the next guest.

  • Alendil simplifies hosting by removing the need to schedule or manage cleaners between guests. By offering a self-cleaning discount, hosts can attract more bookings while saving time, reducing coordination, and making turnovers easier.

  • No. Alendil is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of Airbnb.

    Stripe Fees

Each booking payment is processed securely through Stripe. Because payments are made directly from the guest to the host, Stripe charges the host its standard processing fee (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). These fees go directly to Stripe — not to Alendil.

  • Alendil does not get involved in cleanliness or photo-related disputes between hosts and guests. The platform’s tools — including the cleaning checklist, live photo submissions, and review system — are designed to help both sides manage these situations clearly and independently.

Hosts may choose to handle security deposits outside of Alendil. Any deposit collection, withholding, or refund related to cleanliness or photos is managed entirely by the host and guest and is not reviewed or facilitated by Alendil.

  • Yes. Alendil is currently designed only for Airbnb hosts who want to offer guests a self-cleaning discount.

Support for additional hosting platforms may be added in the future as Alendil continues to expand.

  • Hosts are responsible for providing all cleaning supplies and restock items.

  • Hosts are responsible for managing all applicable taxes related to their bookings. This includes determining the total tax rate (state, local, or other) and entering that rate when creating their listing.

Alendil automatically applies the host-provided tax rate to the guest’s total at checkout. The full amount paid by the guest — including the tax — is sent directly to the host. The host is then responsible for reporting and remitting those taxes to their respective jurisdiction.
